That reminds me of a Toro Groundsmaster (?) 72 that I used to cut grass with when I was in high school :) 3 cylinder diesel and hydrostatic drive.

Its not even too terrible for general work, faster than I figured it might be.
I think it was municipal, my neighbor bought it then got sick shortly after and dies even before he went thru it. His daughter is moving here, I helped with it and made a deal, she owns and I fuel and repair, we share.
Harold must have wanted one for a long time and figured it for a project/useful but I plowed his drive for years. It was a dream of sorts I guess. It had good maint, its older, 1625 hrs and I guess this is all it has ever done. I might look for a mower deck.

This has cab heat. Its kind of nice. I truck plowed the other day and next snow can by and cut and clean a little with this and it worked pretty well. When I first seen it work I thought no way but its not bad. I actually fixed a couple places it will make truck plowing easier.

We cleaned the side walks in town with those Toro Groundmaster 72. We replaced them with a much bigger unit made in Canada!

When I lived in Indiana the city had a small fleet of the Kubota mowers like that with hard cabs and would swap the front decks for blowers in winter to do sidewalks and parking lots. They also had quite a few Gators and other UTVs with plows for the same reasons. In typical midwestern "overreact ANY weather" fashion, when the snow got "deep" (3-6") they'd call in all available bodies and send them out to "help" with streets. JMO, but seeing UTVs and mower/blowers "gang-plowing" the street is either maddening or freakin hilarious, depending on whether youre stuck behind them or not.

reminds me of a time, in my youth, at the winter festival. I can still hear the treble "Oh MY!" as Mrs. Lanford came around the corner.
I guess she never seen a young man shoveling snow before ;)

I'm not good enough with a computer to move it here so you can see it. There's a story on NH1.com about a guy that put a snowblower on the front of a GMC pickup. I won't say anymore so whoever goes to look can enjoy it

That's the one, thanks. I haven't gotten that far with computers yet. I only just finally got one over the summer. I was in a line in back of a guy yesterday that told the clerk he didn't have one yet, brought a tear to my eye. This guy in NH is my kind of yankee. Use it, or keep it until you do
