Check through the local papers, Craigslist, the grocery/hardware/auto stores cork-board postings, or junk/scrap yards. You're looking for any hoarders in your area that buy/sell mowers and small engine equipment. One of them might have a parts machine they'll let you raid for some cash.

What the heck is "Snow"???

And why would anyone want to blow it???

Exactly what gears are you looking for? The "transmission" is a pair of friction drive disks. These turn a shaft with a chain sprocket that in turn drives the differential.

Depends on how old it is - Deere didn't make all (or even most) themselves - Ariens and Murray made them. If it's vintage (70's-80's) it's likely Ariens and going to be tough to get parts for. I would skip JD dealers and look for the OEM part numbers and sources. JD, if they didn't make the unit, would have re numbered the parts to their system rather than using the OEM numbers to "hide" the fact.

You're going to want a parts machine, but only if you can get one cheap. Trust me, I've fixed a few snowblowers, and if you need to buy a bunch of parts, it usually better to scrap the ******* thing. Find out who actually made the machine, and you'll probably find identical units under different brands to make the search easier.

Its an Ariens 1032 painted green with a custom dash. Almost all parts are readily available through them. Give them a call with the model number or part numbers and they should be able to help you with a cross reference number to an actual Ariens part.

Go over to mytractorforum.com and look into the garden tractors section for the John Deere sub-forum.
There are literally thousands of members there who have all sorts of older machines and parts and help one another out with hard to find or obsolete parts.
