Depends on the type of work I am doing. :D For general work I find a 8oz is just about right.

I have a blue point 4oz. already had a 32 oz craftsman and random brand 10 oz one doit best? from my childhood.

24oz model. My usual go-to hammer. I grab the 32oz or the 8lb sledge if I really need to beat something like a red-headed stepchild.
