SO Cordless screwdriver

Hi,

Looking to buy a SO cordless screwdriver, im sick of doing underdash work with manual screwdrivers all day.

So it's a toss up between the CTS661 or the CTSU561

The 661 is newer and uses lithium ion batteries, something that im keen on as i had a set of Ni Cad SO lights and the batteries died in little over a year, apparently not covered under warranty because ni cad suffers from the cold and memory effects.

Then again i can get a 561 super cheap, the 661 in Europe is mega expensive so i will probably look at importing one from the states.

Anyone got both or one can chime in ?

I've had the CTS561 for about 2 years and the batteries are now only holding charge for about 30 mins tops. HOPEFULLY the snap-on guy will take it on trade in when the time comes.

Had the same thing with my lights. They would charge very quickly and only last for 20 minutes. Snap on told me not covered and it was £35 for a new battery. Told them to get lost.

I have the cts761. Two thumbs up. The toggle switch alone makes it a league above ANYTHING else out there.
