Had the old one, traded it and regretted since.
Got the M12 gun to replace it, but this new SO gun is a HOSS! Took the lug nut off my plow truck, 1-1/16 1/2 drive socket with reducer....took a few seconds of hitting, but did it while the M12 got nowhere.
I always like the trigger and size of my old one, this one is PERFECT. Magnetic battery boot just makes it more perfecter!
Now just get a damn boot for it Snap On!....my dealer says the old one works with cuts for vents, but I can wait......

i always wanted one, but could never justify the price really. for what they are they are NOT cheap. i have the M12 3/8 (and 1/2 and 1/4 guns) and they do everything i need, plus im vested into the M12/M18 system

but there is just something about the trigger of the snappy, the size and the 14.4v setup. thats the key i think..that extra few volts and anvil design is just better

I love mine. I wasn't going to buy it but my Snap-on guy told me to take it and try it out for a week.

Sold.

Still have the old one and the new one. I prefer the trigger finesse of the 761 as well as the slightly smaller grip, and still use it often, but as the other guys at the shop say “this thing is rowdy” and it is. I find I use it more and more everyday just due to the extra power it has.

Edit: green one is the brushless, red one under it is the old trusty 761
