Sorry, I know this merits this smiley...so I'll get it out of the way.
I am stuck between the SO CT8810 and IR 5130. I am a car DIY'er, but I'm in the midst of building a race car so I've got a fairly sizable DIY on my hands.
Anyway, I know the SO has a little more power but that the IR is a little lighter and cheaper. I am not worried all that much about the cost difference, but what I'm really trying to decide (or figure out) is if the dimensions on the IR might be a little better?
I have a full size impact but it never seems to fit in the spaces I'd love to use it (like removing old drive shaft bolts) so that's why I'm looking at a compact option.
I can't find dimensions on the SO but it seems a touch longer than the IR. Can anyone comment? Are there spots the IR can go that the SO can't?
