As the title says I am looking for terminal tools.
Everyone I know uses and likes the snap on kit seeing the COO I knew there had to be a cheaper OEM.
In defense of Snap On they do charge less for the same kit than Matco, Proto & Grainger but what ever I got a flooded car from Sandy to restore so every dollar counts.
I printed both out and going to show it to my truck guy to see if we can make a deal.

The dealer probly pays less then $36.00 for it. Wonder how low he will go. Like Consumers Report stated, Prices shown should be what seller actually paid for car, truck ect., then you the consumer will deside how much is to be paid above cost for service, warranty, freindlyness, extras thrown in ect. I wonder if the sales people will lie more, or less?

I have the S-O set's and a PICO wrather pack set (3pc). Lisle has a few different ones, tooltopia has them. I had also seen a fold up hex key style set somewhere too.

i have had mixed results with that set. How has your experience been over all?

I have a few factory VW wire pin tools. Sick of paying $50 each for them, but they work awesome.

I believe ecs tuning sells terminal tools for VW's on their website in the tools section. Might be worth a look

I already have plenty of capable crimpers and I dont need to get that scientific with it.
I did an entire 8.50 index efi car harness with a paper clip this time I have to get stuff done faster without the aggravation..
I already got what I need thanks.
