Well, I'm not sure "built" is the right word, so much as "assembled." :D

I picked up some corner brackets, a few 2X4s, and a 4X8 piece of 1/2" plywood and set to work with my friend/business partner, John.

I realize we need to frame out the bottoms of the legs, but a Giants vs. Patriots matchup took precedent. :rocker:

We're in the throes of launching a carbon fiber and composite manufacturing company, so we need the table to work on as we're laying things up, sanding, etc...

So far, so good, and not bad for. $60 table. :)

Looks good ! You might consider adding some electrical outlets on it powered by an extension cord.

Thanks guys. :)

Right now, we're focusing on smaller interior parts for Mustangs, so this 4X4 is actually working out well. Tomorrow we're planning on adding some bracing/storage to the bottom.

We're currently looking for shop space to expand operations, ultimately offering hoods, deck lids, spoilers, etc...

Oh, and here's some of the stuff we're working on right now. :)

These are door pulls from my Lotus.

Here are some of the Mustang parts, before and in process.

I wouldn't put to much weight on the table. If you need something heaver replace the 2X4's with 4X4's and nail the 2X4 top rails into the 4X4's. Set the 2X4's flush on the outside of the 4X4's. My bench was built that way and lasted 35 years.

Thanks DFA. The table actually started as a temporary setup made up of cheap metal clamps from home depot. Once we screwed the top down, we realized how ridiculous it all looked.

Think "two cheap 2x4 horses held together by the top."

The damn thing ended up with more legs then an octopus with twins. :lol_hitti

We pulled it apart and ditched the horse brackets, instead settling for corner brackets and 2x4's. (a 4x4 won't fit in the brackets.)

Tomorrow we'll add 2x4's to the existing legs, screw in a shelf (just the top, lower, basically, and hopefully that'll do it. :)

Good luck with the startup.

Definitely beef the table up a bit.
