Does anyone know a part number for this part of a Canadian made KRA 40” topchest? It’s the plastic plug that closes the vertical channel - it doesn’t serve much function, but it really bugs me that its missing! I have the one for the other side, but I can’t find them listed on any drawings or parts lists.

many thanks!

That is interesting. I was trying to find the same parts for a Canadian made KRA-58 and Snap On customer service was not able to locate a part number or anything related. I even sent them a picture.

I did do that once. It worked very well, though my wife was not pleased!
You are supposed to get the owners permission before you start making parts from someone else's cutting boards. You might own the house, but the Kitchen is very probably hers.

How would you feel if she grabbed your pet screwdriver and had it ground thinner to make a knitting needle?

At the risk of thread resurrection, I thought I should update this…

I never did find the SO part number, but a good friend of mine took pity, and printed me a pair if them using the one remaining original as a pattern. I’m really pleased with how they came out!

Print them out of ABS or even better ASA and put the final part in a paint can with a rag soaked in acetone (not touching) and they will come out looking like they were molded instead of printed
