Hey Guys,
In the last year I have changed jobs from working on multiple different types of equipment to working for a fleet where I am only working on mainly two different types of equipment.
The shop I'm in now is a lot tighter and harder to maneuver in. I a currently working out of a 72 inch box and a cornwell 4 drawer cart, the cart holds probably 60% of what I use day to day. I am looking to downsize and work only out of a cart. So I am looking at two possible options right now.

The krsc46, which seems to be a great cart, I like that I could add some extra drawers or a small side cabinet to it down the road if I need to. It seems to be well reviewed around the forum.

I am also looking at the cornwell ctbmm800, the cart is a little bigger all around which I like, but I have yet to put hands on one of these carts, I was hoping someone on here has experience with it.

I would really like to be able to store a 42 inch pry bar vertically but I'm not sure if I could do that with either of these.

Any help or guidance is appreciated

An alternate reality in a parallel universe.
I have the Cornwell and it can store a 42" prybar, but the upper till depth versus prybar handle length can be the limiting factor. I looked at the KRSC46 for work but the Matco JSC770 won out. The Matco upper till will accommodate 9" handles, plus custom drawer configurations do not cost extra. I went with 4 thin drawers on top, the two 4" drawers with a 8" bottom drawer. I will advice you to NOT go with the 4 swivel casters, controlling the direction of the cart can be a real *****, especially once you loaded it up with tools.

I have the cornwell it's great for the price but has more side holes for screwdrivers pry bars etc but sadly not any big prybars with functionality lid

I believe the snap on can atleast with older square handles prybars not sure of newer handles thou

I appreciate the input guys, a coworker has krsc246, i like it, but I would like it to be a little wider. I looked at that matco cart, my dealer had one on the truck and I liked the storage of it, but it just seemed really flimsy.
I guess I'm still a little stuck on the decision. I think the krsc46 will hold a longer prybar handle than the cornwell cart. I believe it will hold a 36" snap on bar fine. I guess I could mount a separate pry bar holder on the side of the snap on box.
I guess I just need to figure out what I'm willing to sacrifice.

I just bought a used cornwell 800 off of cl a couple of months ago. I looked at the krsc 46 and the 246 and all the matco series. And i almost settled for a krsc because I couldn't find a used cornwell.

Im glad I waited. I really love this box, the bottom drawer is huge and the overall depth of the box is great. And seven drawers are great.

But it is big for a cart. Mine is loaded to the gills and it rolls with no issues.. I had a us general 44 with a upper, side box and a locker. I pretty much transferred all its contents into this, sold the old box and never looked back.

I added a side shelf for a $120 and was well worth the money. The latch system on the drawers is also smooth. It rolls quiet no rattles. I shopped them all im super happy with my choice.
