Hi,

I know im outside of the USA so experiences may differ but just curious to see if anyone else has had a similar story.

7 months ago i ordered 3 of the new 14.4 volt lithium tools, a 3/8 ratchet, the drill and the screwdriver. The only odd ball thing about it is i ordered all 3 in green to match the rest of my green kit....

So 7 months is a long time, my green CT8850 only took 1 week to arrive, my green CT761 3/8 gun again only took a week to arrive.

Every week my dealer has the drills/ratchets etc on the truck in red so it's not like there's a shortage of them.

Do they just not make as much green stuff ? My dealer has been great about it asking when they will arrive etc.

Check to Snapon.co.uk website. Find your item(s), add to cart, and check the stock status. Then do the same for snapon.com. If there is no stock in the UK but there is stock in the US, consider ordering the US part numbers. Ask your driver if he can swap out the charger. If not, its possible the charger will be dual voltage anyway and the only difference will be the mains plug.

You may also find that the tools you want are frustratingly cheaper in the US. I don't think there's anything you can do about that.

Sometimes you can't get it they will allow you to order it and then it never comes. My past dealer ordered me the ct7850 in green several times it would take the order and never come in, he finally called and they said oh those aren't available right now or whatever reason is. They don't ever tell you the order just sits in oblivion somewhere or gets cancelld maybe

Hell it happens with someone as simple as a chrome metric socket, I sent one in for warranty a few years ago, all my other stuff came in so finally a few weeks later I called and asked why so long on a 3/8 drive shallow chrome 13mm socket and she said we don't know what the new part number is for the one you sent in, I looked it up in 10 seconds on the website, told them and they said ok we will send you that

Hi

Looking up the us part numbers won't really work.

The uk uses different parts. For example the ct8850 is called the cteu8850 here.

It's because it has to be eu approved.

The U.K. SO website is utter **** too. It doesn't tell too if an item is in stock or not, not even when you order something. I ordered a few things a while back which didn't show up. Called them and was told they are out of stock!

CS in the usa is meant to be great but here it is beyond useless.
