SO Locking U-Joint

I've been waiting for one of these to come out. Only by the time the locking joint is on the fastener, who many times will I have run out of room because of the locking mechanism, since u-joints are mainly for tight spaces? And without measurements, how can I know if their claim that it is "barely larger than a standard u-joint" true/reasonable? Anyway CONTROL WITH POWER, NEVER COMPROMISE!!!1

I don't know if this is a new idea or not, but for a locking drive end that needs to be narrow, I'd like to see some thing like this picture I drew instead of those pull-back collars. The socket would be unlocked by pressing down the drive end pin- could use a pin punch or scribe- something small like that. It would be a small inconvenience, but then, so would dropping a socket at the back of the engine compartment like I did once....
If the drawing is proportional, then a universal joint like this shouldn't be any longer or weaker
