I know you wanted some that you can use with your existing stuff, but check out the gear wrench ratcheting nutdrivers. They are excellent.

I use this combination

This gives you a ratcheting 1/4" driver and with an adapter you can turn it into a 3/8" driver also.

I have a few 1/4 and 3/8 but cannot find a 1/2 so I'm thinking about getting an extension, grinding the female end and fitting it into a handle.

I've nevet found one with a 1/2" drive. A friend of mine resolved this issue by using a 3/8" spinner handle and a step-up adapter, putting the adapter on the square drive and drilling through it and putting in a roll pin. Still a 3/8", but with a 1/2" permanently attached.

Not enough companies make them in 3/8 drive; Cornwell used to have some really nice ones and then quit production on them. :(

The armstrong ones are nice, but the yellow handle female 1/4 has spun in the handle.

Snap on als made a really nice 1/4 drive also also with the female in the handle.

The new SO 1/4" driver with the instinct handle doesn't have the female drive end in the handle. I was disappointed when I got my set through school which came with the new one, so I traded for a NOS driver that did have the female end from my SO dealer.

The spin handles with the female square drive reminds me of a raspberry jelly filled donut with the little ******* for some reason. :headscrat

I didn't realize that these were that hard to find. Even craftsman has a 1/4 version with the female square driver receiver in the handle. For 3/8, I use these VIM locking spinners. They also have a female driver receiver in the handle. Made in Taiwan, but very nice quality....

Awsome, thanks guys - that is exactly what I'm looking for. Good find on the 1/2" set too. For 20 some odd bucks, how can you go wrong?

I'm sorry, what? How? Why? Oh never mind, i don't even want to know..

When I used to eat jelly filled donuts, I'd like to stick my tongue in the little *******. :bounce:

You are SO strange.. :headshake

Nice one! Thanks mate I will do that.

Let us know how it works! We also used a little shim steel to take up any slack between the drives and it turned out to work very well. :)

Orange handles???:bounce:

I do have one 1/4" spinner with an orange handle, yet strangely it doesn't have a femal drive. The handle is a replacement and has no part number on it, so i believe it's a DIY jobbie.

You can't!
