SO plastic socket trays two row available?

Looking for those blown plastic socket trays for standard and deep sockets (in one)… My father has some ancient ones he got with his SO sockets for a 8-19mm set.

They look like the below image, but black with white printing (socket sizes) IIRC:

He also has them (blown black plastic) for his 10-19mm wrench sets.

Are they available? I like how the sockets will fit in shorter drawers, since they're not upright. Makes it easy to use common sockets, without having to snap them off those rails.

Snap On does not sell those outright. It is considered packaging. Occasionally some will show up on e-bay. Most folks throw these away.

I still have mine I bought with 1/4 deep and shallow set I believe they discontinued this style around the time dual 80/instinct ratchets/handles came out and switched magnetic base plastic trays from the metal clip rails they used to come with

Try eBay or Craigslist for retiring techs will be best bet as it will hard to find nosin this form

Autozone has a Duralast 3/8 metric set that comes in a tray like that. 8 to 19mm. $20 something. I have a set and held up good so far.

Haha, my dad's tool cart has those trays with 8-19mm sockets and 10-19mm wrenches… for the last 20 years. I dunno, but I like working out of them. Easy to grab a socket or wrench (no dealing with magnets or pins like the hansens). Angled so you can see everything. Granted they are started to crack, but hell they lasted so long.

I've been debating how to store wrenches and sockets… on a tool cart, since those are most used (by me) and always stay there. However in the box, likely strips or hansens would work better and take up less space.

Certainly an option... feel guilty buying a $30 tray, just to toss the sockets.
