Even the round heads dont have USA on them.

:FIREdevil this thread should be epic.

My 1/4 drive Round heads, Which are new models have it in the groove around handle where the model number is. I believe the lack of USA is only pertinent to the Dual 80 Tech Ratchets.

Let's put this together with the sk thread.
:deadhorse

You might as well sticky it, because Its gonna continue to raise concern with customers. It seems here at GJ we like to bash people for buying import tools but then question there concerns when they buy a premium priced tool without the COO stamp. Rest assured its gonna rear its ugly head again, Probably sooner than later. Again, I personally have my doubts about the COO of the Dual 80 Tech but untill someone shows me that its not USA made i will have to take SO's word for it. There theory on "globalization" would make much more sense if they practiced the "No Coo" stamp on all there tools instead of just the Dual 80 tech ratchets, Regardless of COO the Ratchets are Quality pieces and the Warranty service is First Rate.

man you guys cannot let go can you. how many times do we have to go over this before you will actually listen.
go to snap on and search each item and then look at COO. all of them say usa the repair kits ( include the internal parts ) all say USA
end of discussion as usual
the ratchets were to be put in a box similar to the ratcheting screwdrivers, but that didnt happen. USA was not put back on them.

No need to get upset, The OP was curious to why they wasnt marked USA. Its not like Snap on has been doing this for years, or they discontinued marking all there tools. Its Ok, Just breathe and count to 10.

It'll be fine. Lots of manufacturers have told me it will be OK because even though they're moving production overseas, the products will still be made to their specs.:)

Country Of Origin USA that is also the info in my pc. the bits are the only thing that look like they are not made here, but I have seen some really crappy USA made stuff before.
the bits hold up and that are not breaking left and right. so maybe they are but why must you always be so negative. doesnt do a body good.

My friend has an identical screwdriver he paied a dollar for at the cash redgester of a canadian tire. Made in china right on it.

The only thing different is the handle his being orange and round mine being an SO hard handle, I guess that justifies the 17$ price difference.....

I thought you were going to take a roadtrip and run around the factory before the cops got there. Then we have a fundraiser for your bail :)

This has been discussed extensively in numerous threads.

Here is one
http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=49915&showall=1

The newer items dont have any C.O.O. on them.

The current Dual 80's , the new 3/8" drive 100 tooth FHNF100 ,and the 1/4" drive 72 tooth THNF72 roto head ratchets dont have C.O.O. on them.

The RAF80 3/8" Drive low profile ratchet doesent have any C.O.O. on it either.
If you look at the bottom of the package of the RAF80 ratchet and the socket set it clearly states Made in U.S.A. .

Snap On states on there website that these items are all made in the U.S.A.
None of there competitors even lists the C.O.O.

I believe so...SO is every so slowly slipping foreign made tools into its main line...wont be long before they have full blown off-shore production to offset the cost of "on-shore" production, but don't worry; it will all be made to "Snap-On's strict specifications".

My favorite is "assembled in USA". Like the pen flashlight: 2 batteries, and a cylinder and a top. Insert batteries into cylinder. Thread on top. Assembled in USA.
