IMHO yes, that guy's out to lunch. Unfortunately, there's a collector out there somewhere that can justify the price. They're not made anymore which makes them kinda rare. Hell, the little sdddm1 pocket screwdrivers we're going for $100 after they were discontinued until snap on started making them again and charging $18 for them!
With the full set of 4 shanks and the kit bag the black ones in nice shape usually sell in the low 100's. There's also a blue version that comes up every now and again that sells for quite a bit more.

Crazy.

I warrantied the blade on mine about 8 years ago, and the blade itself was a tad too thick in one spot to slide into the handle, so I gave it a little bit of "clean up" on the grinder. Mine probably isnt "worth it" to collectors due to that flaw

Holy cow thanks guys! I was sorting through my drawer of Snap-on screwdrivers the other day and I remembered an odd square shaft screwdriver. Just went out and checked and it's the same one listed here!
