WIth all the talk about types of epoxy...I'm curious. I have had valspar v820 gray epoxy down for 6 years and is awesome.

Here's what the can says for ingredients:

epoxy resin
titanium dioxide
crystalline silica
ethylene glycol
monopropyl ether
isobutyl alcohol

So, is this water, petroleum, anybody know % of solids if so? I'm just curious.

Solvent based. If they do not give % of each part then there is no way to judge. Valspar has been a good brand so it is one of those "trust the brand" things.

epoxy resin -epoxy
titanium dioxide -pigment
crystalline silica -thickener or pigment?
ethylene glycol -solvent
monopropyl ether -solvent
isobutyl alcohol -solvent

There may be a MSDS on file.

I believe that this could be an old formulation using solid epoxy resin (Type 1) and MDA... but... I"m not positive. There are MANY different types of epoxy resins. They are generally referred to as type 1 thru type 9. However, it's not just 9 types. You can also have Type 1.5 or 2.5.... THEN... there are glycidal ethers or esters... novolacs... phenolics... cycloaliphatics... it goes on and on...

The point is that when something says 'epoxy' you still don't know what KIND of epoxy.

MDA was an awesome curing agent but has now been severly limited due to it's toxicity. So, if my guess above was right, I doubt that it can be purchased anymore.
