so whats the verdict on Electronic specialties

Well im looking at upgrading meters and I have heard some good things on gj but cant find much other info so for the people that have them what do you think? do you regret not spending the extra money on a fluke? Also which one do recommend the esi590 or the esi595?

What meter are you upgrading from, and what features do you want/think you are missing out on? What kind of budget do you have for the upgrade?

IMO, most people can get away with a fairly basic meter, and if they need something "better", they would be better suited with a meter capable of graphing if they are going to spend the money on a good meter.

At the moment i have a craftsman pro unit which is alright but is just missing a couple things, off the top of my head i am thinking audible continuity, rpm, dwell, and it seems slow to give a reading sometimes if that makes sense? my budget is around 150 i could go a little higher i guess but i cant realy justify a fluke 88. the esi 595 is around 140 on tooltopia and the 590trms is 112 on tooltopia.
