and need a wifi camera for the garage. Well I have been trying the Prescence app for the last few days and can say it was a cheap "free" way to get a camera out in the garage. It works off wifi and will detect motion/take a pic and send you a email if it gets tripped. Not bad for something that would have sat in a drawer. Just figured I would give you guys a heads up. I haven't caught anyone doing anything yet but its nice to be able to check in and see if my wife closed the garage door.

I do wish it would take longer video and have it store on the phone itself. Another great feature would be remote turn on...but for free.

Yep. It's just sitting on a charger base plugged in. My new phone doesn't work on the old base. In a few days they are going to release an update that will allow you to view from a web browser.

OK guys for the not so technically advanced (me) how exactly does this work?? LOL. The old IPhone is just simply on with the camera pointing in the direction you want??? Yes I know its charging. How do you connect to the old IPhone??

You connect through the same app on a different phone. It's almost like FaceTime but you don't have to have someone pick up the other end.
