looking to put a small biker hangout in the back yard, do small repares on bikes and some car stuff to.. like most i have a small budget to ! :lol_hitti

so this is what i came up with...

looking at a Metal Garage that is 20x31x8 with a walk in door and a window, 1 9x7 and 1 6x6 GARAGE DOOR.. red roof and white sides with green trim.. the cost on this set up at the house is $4925.00

http://www.carport.com/?bid=182108rbgccc4nbghbghbg-1000000000000000000000100000

the 20x31x4 pad with all the prep work i think would be around $3500.00 ?

and if i do some cool little things to it , think it look sweet ?

I think you should go for it if you have the means to do so

I would hang out there, no second thoughts

I think it could look great. In a simple structure like that, minimal decorations - like the Texaco details in your sketch and the red roof - will make all the difference. They'll personalize it and make it YOURS and not impersonal, industrial. Can't wait to see this come together.

Nice...I just ordered this on Saturday. It's a 20x25, 12 gauge, a-frame with a vertical roof, two 8x7 rollup doors, man door and one window. Got it out the door for $5200.00. I went into one at the showroom in the middle of the day. And it was a lot cooler than I imagined. Can't hardly wait for it to get here. Will post pics once it's being installed.

Pug....change your roof so the metal ridges are vertical, running from peak to gutter and change the siding from horizontal to vertical. I think in doing that, it would look a little more like a pole barn instead of the metal carports or garages you see sitting everywhere for sale. Also with running the roof vertical, you won't have the snow load hanging on to the ridges.
