Does anyone know of a 1 inch ratchet to 1/2 inch socket adapter? I found a company that makes torque multipliers selling one but was hoping for a name brand tool. I could just use two adapters but that could get in the way. Im working on a trade for a 1 inch drive Proto ratchet.

If you really need something for a legitimat use not being cheap /shoestring or /convenience, there are companies that will make that tool for your. Apex industrial / comes to mind as one of the companies that does offers custom production run tools and can probably pull that off.

edit: I mis-read the descrition of 1 1/2 as 1 to 1/2. So 1 inch up to 1.5 inches is OK, and it ain't cheap. A step down you would have to call them.

Wow at least they have a disclaimer! :D

"Now you can use the Cheater Wrench on any automobile! With this unique adapter, you can use the Cheater Wrench with 1/2″ drive sockets.

NOTE: This adapter is designed for use with 1/2″ drive sockets that are 19mm or smaller. If you use this product with larger sockets on lug nuts at high levels of torque, it is likely to break.

The one by Cheater Wrench is the one I found as well. They offer free shipping but oddly charge tax, but less than $22.

Keep in mind that disclaimer is for using it with their torque myltplier.
