I dremel off the rivets from the outside so as not to damage the logo, then use pop rivets to re-attach it.


Thanks. I guess I need a different PPP riveter because he hand held squeeze type won't clear the box edges. What kind do you use? (Sorry for the maybe obvious dumb questions but I'm not an experienced riveter)

No questions are dumb.

I use stainless steel allen head machine screws for the hinge sides, and pop rivets for the name badge.

My pop rivet gun is like this:

It has 4 different sized dies that screw in the front for various diameter pop rivets. Mine is set up for 1/8" diameter.
