Ever notice it seems it is always the stuff that everyone already has. I do not know of many mechanics that do not have a 1/4" set already. 1/4" set is almost like oxygen to a mechanic!:bounce:

Can you honestly tell me that you do not have a 1/4" set? I am on the big equipment side and I still use the hell out of the 1/4" stuff.:)

Vinko, which set are you interested in? I'm looking to get the 1/4" set myself, or maybe 2, if there were 2 people buying halves.

I cannot do any better pricing than what is on the website. I wish I could but my hands are tied in this area.

Well If I spend the money I would rather see it go to a nice guy (you), than the guy in my area who didn't call me back after 50 msgs... I spoke to his boss and he said he just had a kid, so I guess the answer to everything half assed is "I just had a kid", like that was supposed to make it better. Seriously if I do it I would rather give you the money.

I'd really like the 1/4 set. My dad has one on the second floor, but it's a pain going up there. And the set on the first floor is a Husky and the ratchet *****.:wtf:

I saw a pair of jack stands (3 ton I think?) in the last flyer for $122. Made in USA. I've seen several American-made stands going for about $99 on teh net, so the Snappy Tax ain't too bad on that item.

I could buy Craftsman sets for the whole neighborhood even at that price. But, if money was no object...

Wow, I'm not dissin' Snap-On or any SO buyers here but I cannot fathom spending so much on those sets. It does not even enter the realm of "I would if I could."

It is very nice of Chadster to post this deal. I know Snap-On is very good quality but wow, 600 bucks for a socket set? I have been picking up brand new Proto sets on Ebay that even come in a metal box for 100-120 including shipping. Am I missing something?
