Socket Extensions

What are peoples opinions on brands? I have all CM but may add some Gearwrench. They seem like they they all would be the same.

Might even get the wobble ones to have them.

I don't think you can really go wrong with any one type; although I did buy the Cman locking ones because they had much "lockers" on them. While made of plastic, the tabs were very slim compared to the alternative.

SK makes some great sets that won't brake the bank,
I have the 1/4' and 3/8" sets, lots of different lengths including some really long ones.
They have a knurled shaft and come with a tray to keep them organized.
You can get the 1/4" set for around $45, 3/8" set for $75

It's pretty hard to go wrong with extensions

I have them from snap on to no name garbage
They all work

The only time I ever broke one was when I testing out a new ratchet and jumping on the poor thing....

Knurling on the top is nice.

I've got SO and alot of CMan, some Proto as well. The smaller lenghts probably make much of a difference, longer you might run into some issues with twisting or bending depending on the alloys used. I've got a few wobble's as well that come in handy. The locking CMan I have I use mainly for spark plugs since they always come off after you screw em back in.

I have the MAC locking extensions that I love. 3/8" and 1/2".Been searching for the 1/4" but looks NLA it seems. Knurling on coupler, shaft and then on the locking pull-back collar.

Craftsman will get you by, but as Mike points out, a good brand with knurling on both the coupler and shaft is a major major major plus.
