I bought these three sockets recently and had a question.
Does anyone know what brand the middle socket is?
It simple says W.D Chrome Vanadium 10mm
The second picture is the back side of the socket.
I don't think this is a socket from this century as the man I bought it from was selling off things that he amassed from 50 years ago.

Yeah, the first Westward tools were sourced from Japan... I doubt very much that's where they're made now, though.

The brand has existed in Canada since the 1960s.

If it's made in Japan, would it be Daido?

From what I've read here in GJ, the name doesn't seem to be associated with much quality and that production has moved to Taiwan.

I've got a Daido 3/8" ratchet that was made in Korea. It's actually NOT BAD! It isn't SO, but I'd put it up against a C-Man ratchet!:shocking:
