Socket Identity

Anyone out there know what this is used for, or called? It is a MAC Tool with the number RA38 on it, and it fits a 3/8-inch socket. Tried their site but no luck. Thanks for the help.

Maybe just part of a ratcheting adapter that is missing the other half. Just a guess

DAWrench is right. Looks like it's part of a 3/8 Driver Ratcheting Adapter.

Sure looks like you guys called it. Doubt I have the rest of the parts. At least now I know I'm not tossing $50 into the scrap bin.
