Can anyone identify use, maker and value of these two "sockets"? I've never seen any like this before. Thanks.

Not spark plug sockets. They're heavy, socket on one end, hex base with hole. Socket for some kind of machine/assembly jig?

As I have looked at your other post about the hex drive sockets, the ratchet/L bar that came with these sockets had a hex drive instead of a square drive, seeing these have the hex at the top means it was probably a female hex drive ratchet with a knock out drive post and these sockets just slip straight into the ratchet. hole allows large bolts to go through head of socket like those cheap thru-ratchets made today.

I did not see what size they are, but at least the one on the left (the long one) with the extra deep length and the thru hole looks like what we used to call a "Gas Tank Socket". Snap On and others made similar extra deep sockets (with conventional square drives) for removing gas tank straps with the long threaded bolts. The extra depth was needed for that. Perhaps yours are suited for long threaded adjustment rods? Handy socket to have.
Just a thought.
