Or Harbor Freight. That's were I got all mine back when they had 20% off coupons...

I find this setup gives me the most efficient use of space in my drawer while still allowing me to grab an entire rail and be mobile. Very strong magnets, and no issues losing ball detents.

I almost never go to harbor freight so I was unaware of these. They sure look the same. Thanks for the heads up. Also, online you can buy the individual clips in 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" so you can add more to rails or customize sizes on the same rail.

I've owned multiple brands of these, and can confirm that they are the exact same product, just in different colors.

Olsa rails are very nice. Figure out what you want on one and trim to length. I bought a bunch to conserve space and then bought a bigger box so I had room to go back to the hanson trays(my preference).

I still have several rails in use though for things like hex, torx, swivels.

Are the Tekton rails solid on the underside or hollow? I ask because I need to cut some shorter, and wonder if I will be exposing a solid end, or an ugly hollow one.

The Tekton rails are rebranded Ernst rails, they are not solid but have a web structure on the under side. If you cut them you will expose it. The rails come in more than one size, I know they make 18" and 11" but may have shorter as well.

Since my last post I changed up my tool box (had a 44" HF, now have a 54" KRL), changed and expanded my sockets, and acquired new socket rails. I still contend the HF plastic trays are great for what they are but I have come to love the Ernst rails. My 1/4" socket sets came with them and bought more for my 3/8", 1/2", and bit sockets. Color coordinated because I could. At some point I need to get another rail to hold the 12 point sockets I'm keeping from my previous setup, those will probably go on a gray rail.
