I recently bought a new tool box for the garage and was in the market for a new set of sockets to fill it with. I've already got enough Allen Wrenches last a lifetime. So All i would like is the sockets. I know it's a sales gimick to beef up a set count but man it's aggravating!!!!

You could go with the Craftsman 79 piece socket set. Includes both metric and standard sizes and NO hex wrenches :D

Craftsman also has a 192 piece set, though it does include a few more hex wrenches - though not as much as other sets include. This 192 piece set has a lot more other tools though than just sockets.

Yeah, I like those "easy to read" Craftsman sockets.

I picked up the Craftsman 263-piece Mechanic's Tool Set for $154 (discounted to $159, $5 online discount code) just before Black Friday. At that price, if you don't like the Allen keys, toss 'em.

Actually I got another $6 off by using my Craftsman points.

I like it better than I thought I would because each tray is essentially dedicated to a socket drive size--1/4, 3/8, 1/2. Set a tray near/on your project and get to work!
