Socket size markings on Craftsman Socket Rails

The other day I was getting annoyed by not being able to identify my sockets when looking through my socket drawer. Came up with this method. I know some rails have IDs on them but this was functional, quick, easy and cheap for the craftsman rails that I use.

Used a white paint marker and a black Milwaukee permanent marker.

That works. My Ernst rails came with stickers, but they don't hold up. Probably should have glued them on before I lost a few. Probably just go this route now.

Drink, I am sure my idea wasn't original. Labels are cool. Nice thing about a paint marker and a Sharpie is you can redo them pretty easily.

I wanted to do something like that on my 4 rail tray but wasn't sure I could make it look decent. I ended up writing on the tray in front of the rail with a sharpie. My socket sets line up so it's working pretty good so far.
