Anybody know anything about these?

They were in a tool box I bought at an Auction. All I have is what you see.

I am guessing there was a hexagon ratchet to go with them once upon a time. (Later I found the allen wrench setup shown in the third photo)

There was never anything spoken about this brand inpreticular.....a week or so ago we were discussing old military style tools that used hex style for reasons of keeping the tools around back in the day

Most of the early socket sets were the hex style drive. Most that I have seen are by Indestro.

I still have a full metric set made by Indestro sitting in my Kennedy brown box; I bought it in 1965 to work on my Yamaha motorcycle ... and I still have it .. but have not touched it in years. :) :)

Hmmm, I did a search and nothing came back.

I can't remember the name, but it had a red ratcheting hex handle. It was sold everywhere in the 60s, and used those sockets.

Anyone?

I remember seeing a few of those around when I was a kid. Seems to me they had a large allen wrench for a drive. Mostly in car tool sets, etc.

Well I did some more digging and the set doesn't have a ratchet. There are two allen wrenches with ball detents and stops on both ends that are used to turn the sockets.
