Snap On had the same type of pass through sockets years ago.
they were discontinued.

Yup, like these right? I think they used rubber rings.

Airbuff, cool! What's the vintage on those???

I'll have to add some wrenchery as well, starting with a single Kowa wrench. Stay tuned. :D

Super,
It would have been 1990-91 when this was new. Have alot of their T-handles, some special motorcycle tools etc. I've loved the brand since the 70's.
I use to move quite a bit of it back then and kept a few choice items for myself. Glad I did now as U.S. distribution has gone from a roaring trickle then to practically extinct under S/O distributorship it seems.......
oh well.

You always have ultra-cool stuff!

Thanks Monte,
Although they appear to be just raised panel wrenches the finish and broaching is superb like most Japanese hand tools. Nice thin boxes too.
You'll notice that the sizes are standard older Japanese motorcycle sizes as that's all they really offered in the U.S. through AKS then. Makes sense given Kowa's long close ties to Honda and other manufacturers.
(didn't intend to hijack Super's beautiful socket thread though........:)
I have loved German hand tools ..forever, but always appreciated this stuff too.

Here's my lone Kowa wrench that I promised. :)

A long pattern, 12pt/6pt zero-offset, double box wrench in a 12mm.

The 6pt side is a corner-drive (non-flank drive); 12pt side is a edge-drive (flank drive).
Some day, I'd like to collect the whole set.

A lone Supertool erection/spud wrench.

Asahi "Revowave" combi wrenches.

the Revowave and deep offset box wrenches look really good !

The Lightool is no slouch either. I had my full 155lbs weight on a 17mm and didn't make a single fuss about it. :)

Those are some badass pictures with slick tools! Where would one find the Stream Line 6pt/12pt box wrenches? That 10,12,14,17mm set would be perfect for my Hondas.

I got my stuff from Webike. It's all in Japanese though. :D

Re: Socketry- CAROLUS CA 55000.00

My CAROLUS CA 55000.00 1/2 ratchet and flank drive sockets.

The ratchet has 24 teeth.
I find it as offfer . Does anyone knows how old is it?
The part Number is not existing in the carolus catalogues.
