Sockets on air wrench

Hi guys,

Is it safe to use normal chrome sockets on a 3/8 air wrench? The wrench only puts out 20 ft lbs, and also does not impact...

So, no need for impact sockets right? And this doesn't wear out my normal sockets, unlike using chromes on an impact does right?

Thanks!

Why i ask this is, I only have 1/2" impact sockets...

I'm wondering if I need to buy a complete line of 3/8 impacts, while it seems unnecessary if i'm able to use my normal chromes 3/8...

An air ratchet is not an impact wrench and does not require impact sockets. I've been using normal sockets on mine for decades.

It is weird indeed ;) it's just to make sure for me... I can no longer warranty my sockets if they've been used on impacts, and you can easily tell if they have... and since I've not used an air ratchet before, I wanted to make sure ;)
