Hi All,
I just picked up another toolbox to fill and flip. Normally I seem to have sockets first but on this occasion it was the box that arrived.
I was thinking of filling it with the Craftsman 299 piece set since I have no socket inventory and my estate sale/garage sale time is cut significantly as I am now back to work full time ( good and bad) or possibly with Williams sockets in USA Metric and then slowly filling the SAE with flea finds, etc as time permits. I don't believe the budget would allow me to get 300 Williams sockets to duplicate the mass quantity of the Craftsman set. I would probably shoot for metrics, 1/4",3/8" and 1/2 " drives 6pt deep and shallow.
I have a fair selection of ratchets, pliers, etc from Snap-On Cornwell, and others so I am looking at needing just sockets as a new purchase.
I generally like to keep everything American made and use that as a selling point in my CL ads. I market to anyone with cash, pros ,homeowners,etc....
Toolbox is a Menard's 41" Upper and Lower.
