Anyone have any info on SocketSystems LumberLink Kits?

I'm specifically looking for dimensions/materials of the products for my proposed homebuild in the UK (designed in Sketchup):

Any assistance appreciated, since getting information from the people who run Socketsystems is nye on impossible and my structural engineer needs specifics.

Yours, Tom

I have seen many of this style bracket or socket. I however am a technological idiot and can't help with where to get them. I believe if you were able to fabricate you could make your own. Having some bent for you may be less expensive.

Perhaps so - I can get some 6"x6" tubing quite easily and do the welding - but when it comes to specifications/loads/materials etc - structural engineers require precise information. If only for insurance sake.

I understand the load specifications part. On my new shop the city was really hard on the plans I submitted. The engineer that did my drawings called out for some fairly overkill materials and designs. I believe it trigered a bit of speculation and investigation. Try to find someone who could do a drawing or set of plans with the specifications required, submit, get approval, then copy the design if you can not buy them.

My Structural Engineer requires:
1. "Snow Load" Information - Western Europe,
2. Material/Methods used in the construction of the Lumberlink System - e.g. Steel Grade, Welding Certification/Specification & Building Regulation Certification.
3. Bay Spacing Criteria in relation to 1.

Additionally, he as asked for the dimensions of the Lumberlink joints in order to make
the plans as accurate as possible before applying for planning permission.

There is some info on the site but little that's very specific.

Kits come in diff sizes 4x4 rough cut and 6x6 rough. You need grade 2 if i remember lumber. Snow loads are calculated and planned my socket sys when you talk to them i believe. I'm trying to remember this from another thread so i might be a bit off but im pretty sure its right. d110pickup was the member who had built one in US very very nice building system imo and cheap being that it uses rough cut lumber.
