I posted this in the wrong thread earlier today.

I have an older "Corona" hammer that would be soft faced if I could find threaded replacement tips with 5/16-24 threads. Any suggestions?

Cast a 5/16-24 bolt into a lead cylinder or drill & tap a copper or brass round cutoff & use a dbl ended stud.

Thank you. I looked at that site before posting here and didn't see anything. I just sent them an email.
Yeah, I looked harder late last night, and didn't get a hit. yes to 5/16-18, but that helps you none.

I had to make a 5/16-24 set screw yesterday for a project. So disappointed in hardware stores some times.

McMaster has a lot of replacement faces, but nothing that I saw with a 5/16-24. I'd just buy a new Nupla hammer, and a selection of faces, rather than try and find something that doesn't readily exist. If you love that hammer, then maybe drill it oversize and put in a thread insert, if possible, so that it fits a readily available face.

I can’t find anything on a Corona replaceable face hammer, so this may not work. Can you find a different face that will sit in the appropriate space, and then use a hanger bolt to hold it in place?
