I see a lot of those soft grip Snap-on ratchets on eBay with torn up handles and I was just wondering if they can be replaced. Are they replaceable?

I'll never buy another rubber-textured tool. I had a soft-grip ratchet that I ebay'd right after I had the handle replaced, and that almost completely paid for a new steel-handled replacement - exact same ratchet.

I have soft-grip screwdrivers from S-O and Torx drivers from Matco, and I wish I'd gotten the hard plastic versions of both. I'm meticulous about keeping my tools clean, and that can be quite a task with them.

The second gereration soft grip handles (as shown in the Ebay links) are replaceable. The much larger first generation softgrip ratchet handles (the ones that are close to the softgrip screwdriver handles in size and shape) aren't serviced separately. I got a new ratchet once because the handle starting separating.

i am really like hard plastic handle instead soft grip as it is easy to clean. i has soft grip set and i like it as easy on my hands but if it got in transmission oil or gas oil then it would make little swell... so well
