Any one have a soft topper on their pick up? I only want or need a topper for about 9 days a year. I see they weigh much less then a hard topper. Are they really wind proof to 80 miles and hour?

Ebay has one that folds down and is easily removed and weighs 50 lbs. I'm not liking the 650 dollar price, but if someone has experience with one I might consider.

Looking for reviews. The plan is to install one on a 6.5 foot bed Toyota Tundra.

Thanks

Kirk

Seen them, was not too impressed with the mini version at the local truck outfitters, then again not too impressed with the fiberglass bed covers either, there great i guess if you want a truck but should be in a small car to go to work at the office, IMHO useless for real truck duty.

sorry I know it does not answer your question really, but again, seen them, not too thrilled, dealer said he has yet to sell one.

Thanks for the reply. I know they can't replace a hard topper. I don't even want any topper on my truck for 355 days out of the year. I go fishing for 9 days and I just need something to cover my **** when it rains. I don't care how ugly it is or if it is even close to being weather tight. I just don't want to deal with a full size, hard topper sitting in my yard most of the year. I like the idea of tossing the fold up topper into the loft and forgetting about it.

I have one on my truck. I sell Adam's Detail products and worked a ton of shows last year, so a top saved me from hauling the trailer to local shows. I like an open bed 90% of the time, esp for hauling larger stuff that sticks out, so the soft top was my best option. Breaks down in minutes.

I have the Bestop version. Only problem was the front lip uses velcro and there is a ton of tension on it, so it would pull up immediately. I just took a strip of alum. and screwed it on top of the velcrow and it works perfect.

I love it and would recommend it to anyone. Sorry for the dirty pic, but only ones I got.

I've had a tonneau cover on all of my trucks. It keeps my stuff dry and out of sight, and when I don't need it, it rolls up out of the way. Versatile and useful.

Those are exactly what I'm talking about, Eric. That looks like it would do what i need perfectly.

Thanks for the picks, good looking truck, too.
