Solar Generators

Hey all..
Im thinking about buying a solar generator/ storage unit, and looking at a few options, being Allpower,Anker,and ECOFlow. Does anybody here have experiance with these manufacturers, and what do you like, or dislike about them. We have a dual fuel generator that runs during the day, but are looking for something that has the cabability to run the RV fan/airconditioner for short periods of time during the evening. fridge and hot water are on propane. Opions and thoughts are welcome.

These is lots of resources to look this up. Mainly what many companies are calling solar generators are just batteries, they still need to be charged with some type of electricity. Plugged into shore power, run a generator or hook up to solar panels. I battery bank and solar panel large enough to run an AC is pretty expensive, depending on you power needs it is probably $3000-$12,000.

To start, you'll need to put a soft starter on your AC unit and then you'll need to size based off the inverter wattage required. There's a Will Prowse video that is a good review of the ecoflow. Blacksporty is right in the ballpark on pricing depending on if you're including an array to charge the battery or not.

I own some Anker devices. No problems. No solar "generator" though. I'd read the reviews that mention "customer service" or the lack of it.

For some reason I hate the name "solar generator" - these are battery banks with an inverter that can charge from a variety of sources.

Can you point out the particular devices you're looking at?

The Anker SOLIX F2000 might be able to swing an RV AC (with a soft start on it) - it's right on the "edge" and you'll have to divert all other powered devices off the plug as you mentioned. But it's capacity is 2kWh, so it might run your AC for about an hour.. give or take...
