They sent some hack up there that could care less what you got for your money. Hopefully the compnay cares a bit more and you don't end up in a situation like OCG and his trailer!

I guess the word (craftsmanship) is becoming a thing of the past.

Being self-employed, I know what it take to stay in business.
I do water wells, hence my user name..lol.. I get to see what some houses look like before the hide all sheetrock and trim go up, and I will tell you, I have seen houses that I would never live in. Most of these are so-called
"custom homes".

I hope the co. that is in charge of the job you got, will take care of you, and make it right. Good luck.

The words craftsman and hack are now interchangeable.

I've seen my fair share of plumbing jobs where people aren't willing to spend the money to do things right the first time.. and end up spending twice that when someone has to come in again.. which is usually my buddy who then has to pay me to help him demo the old stuff.

Like they say.. there's an *** for every seat.

one of the things that would bother me the most is the added hole in the roof. it will eventually leak, question is when

I would ask what the warranty period is for the system (including labor/workmanship)
if they dont make it right then tell them you will get an estimate on the cost to make it right and deduct it from the ballance owed

Thats great that they stepped up. Also those are some great incentives. 11k for that setup is a steal. A 1KW setup up here was close to $30,000 and the rebates were nowhere near that.

From the looks of it you should pay that thing off rather quickly with the savings!
