Are there any out there that are worth a darn? Looking for something I can put above the overhead door with a dusk to dawn feature. There’s a lot on amazon but they’re all Chinese. Not sure how long they will actually last.

Hate to use the "HF" word.(Harbor Freight) I have been looking at their solar light for the same purpose. Seems to have good reviews and is cheap enough that if it doesn't last, you're not out much $$.

I've got dusk to dawn LED on the front of the garage, and at the back door to the house.
Costco $20 each IIRC

Are you really looking for a solar powered light, or just a light with a dusk to dawn feature? If this is what you want I just installed one on the back porch that works great. I still have the box in the basement.

If you want an actual solar powered light with the necessary 12 hour+ battery life needed for winter nights you will not find a good one cheap, they are basically a commercial light that use a large battery the size of a motorcycle battery. Those are not cheap, but the batteries are replaceable and good for a few years.

If you don't need continuous light, you can find good ones for less than $100 that only come on with the motion detector. I bought a couple for use at a remote station that was on a generator. They are 3 or 4 years old and still seem to be working fine. Unfortunately I don't have the boxes for those anymore.
