solar tools? Powered crimper?

I'm looking a reasonably priced powered crimper for doing MC4 connectors. Is there one you can put on a regular drill to do this? I'm also in the market for a wire stripper for doing the solar cables, sort of an "automatic type" also.

It looks like I'm going to be doing a lot with the solar powered stuff for a while, any tip would be helpful.

Subscribing. Rennsteig makes the eforce crimper, but it is not cheap, around $1600-2k with die sets and battery

Well that might have been a bad suggestion. I didn’t go looking for any specific details but when I typed in the search, a few prices popped up. It was a bit of an oh **** moment. All though the prices are right inline with a hydraulic Burndy set up.

But do some homework on the models, maybe there is something reasonable for your needs.

That Milwaukee is a little overkill for crimping MC4 connectors.
