Gotcha. I plan on using it in the time being with variable voltage device like a rheostat. But that's why I want to buy a digital and have screw on tips. The SP80 is an 80 watt iron, so expect to find large tips and no small ones. 80W is a lot of heat. This is for things like stained glass work etc. Not electronics circuit boards etc.
As I said, there is a Weller store on Amazon.
There are also other manufacturers making tips for that iron - and available on Amazon.
Almost everything, unless you are doing a Western Union connection with solid copper wire.
I'm in the "do both" camp if space allows.
