I just signed a contract to build a 30x50 garage/shop. It will have 10' sidewalls with vaulted trusses in a 22' wide section in the center, allowing an approximate 14' height. I am going to have an electrician install a new 200 Amp service and meter, and some really basic circuits, probably 3 outlets on the walls, and a couple ceiling lights to start, I am still planning some of the interior layouts for additional outlets, and some LED lighting of some sort.
I am looking for some lighting suggestions, I have been reading so many threads my eyes are crossed.
Also insulation questions... thinking of having from 10' up foamed, and the bottom in bats, covered with OSB. I live in northern Alabama, relatively warm winters (grew up in Chicago) and hot summers. Any comments or suggestions here? Construction is about 6-7 weeks out, so plenty of time to plan
Thanks!
