% Solids for garage floor coating?

1. How important is % Solids for garage floor coating?
2. In the context below ... how can I compare these 2 installers using different materials?

Installer 1
Uses a 100% Solids Polyurea base coat (embeds chips in this coat) and uses a 93% Solids Polyaspartic top coat.

Installer 2
Uses a 70% Solids Polyaspartic pigmented base coat. Then a 70% Solids Polyaspartic pigmented broadcast coat (embeds chips in this coat), and finally a 70% Solids Polyaspartic clear Top Coat.

The embed coat is not as important as long as he puts enough down to capture the flake, good to go. Installer B might leave his 70% embed at 13 mils, and the 93% guy (installer A) could go 10 mils, same end result.

The topcoats are close to equal as (2) coats at 70% is about the same as (1) at 93%, again the thickness would be nice but the look should be about the same.

I would expect the 70% to be rolled and the 93% squeegeed and rolled.

Installer 1:
Said he would roll base coat and first squeegee then roll top coat. He said total thickness would be 22-25 mils (not written anywhere). Warranty is 15 years (delamination) and lifetime against discoloration. Cost is 1.4x more than Installer 2.

Installer 2:
Said he would roll base coat (I am not sure about the broadcast/embed coat) and then first squeegee then roll top coat. The Application Instructions say typical thickness for finished system is 16-20 mils. Warranty is lifetime.
Note: all 3 coats use the same 70% Solids Polyaspartic product (except Top Coat is not pigmented)

Our team installs like installer #1. However we use our epoxy for the receiver coat. I am not a huge fan of layering Polyaspartic coats. You see posts about smells and that has a lot to do with guys not realizing the first coat is NOT completely cured , applying the second coat and now you have a smell factory.
