Added a store front in my third 10×10 garage door opening. Garage door is still functional and doors make for a 8x8 opening. e3ba8452b60ed2fb0b3fe1db1dc548a3.jpg2c165332e05786bbe9f4475d413bb764.jpg

That is great, and is easily one of the best metal building modifications I've seen on this website! A truly elegant, practical, and useful solution.

I like it. I had considered putting patio doors on side of garage for more light and access to my yard however decided could not afford to lose wall space.

That looks REALLY nice, has wonderful look to it and in my opinion it adds a lot to the look and decor of the building. Super job.

I have a little different situation where I live. We don't have much crime here, but I live in the city and I have a lot of tools and equipment in my garage/shop. I would just as soon not giving anyone who happens to go by our house the opportunity to see inside the garage, not that everyone walking past our house is a "would be thief" but for all I know there MAY be one walking past so why give that person a chance to look inside? Maybe I am just overly cautious, but I prefer to err on the side of caution and if I can prevent a break in, so much the better.

With that in mind, I only have one window in my garage and the only reason I have that is so I can put a window air-conditioner in it when the days get super hot and humid here. By the way, the window air-conditioner works out quite well. It keeps the garage cool and more importantly, it lowers the humidity by a lot. In short, it makes working in the garage a pleasure even on hot humid days.
