I have a large 2 - Car garage that has some kind of coating on it, not sure if it is an epoxy coating or just paint. But when moisture gets on the floor (wet car being parked in, spilling something) the floor gets slick as ice. I have a sample of the racedeck flooring, the diamond floor looks like it would still be quite slick if water were to get on the floor, and what happens when the water seeps between the tiles, thats got to make the garage start smelling bad. THe other option is the free flow tile, but i just dont seem too thrilled by it.

What have people used to prevent the slickness?

Place a topcoat over your floor with anti skid.

I had this issue with my old house and when I moved I was concerned with the same thing happening. My old house had some weird painted floor so when it got wet the thing was a slip and slide. I went with a Tile floor, mix of the ribbed and diamond plate. I figured the high traffic parts I would use the ribbed so anything would melt through it. So far I have had no issue but be aware that any floor can be slippery.
