Looking for a parts washer that I can use solvent in- not water based.
Not gonna use it very often- mainly bearings and carbs so I don't need an expensive one.
Any suggestions? Thanks

This is what I use, used to have one of those big ones with the pump, etc, but never used it so it was sold.

If you really want to do carbs, you need a heated, ultrasonic cleaner. Use water and an aluminum/zinc safe cleaner like Simple Green Pro.

OR

Buy a bucket of Berryman Chem Dip. Expect to take overnight and still require some brushing.

I would think you would be much better off with an ultrasonic cleaner especially for carbs.

My ultrasonic has cleaned more carbs than anything else. They come out looking absolutely mint and the internal passages you couldn't possibly clean manually are clean.

I ran solvent through my cheap Harbor Freight parts washer for years. I did make some modifications to it which included a transfer pump for diesel fuel and a storage tank below it but that was out of boredom and needing something to do because the washer was still working fine.
