Yeah I did the rest!

Here is what i did:

Wash, clay..then the hard part..The truck sits in the driveway and gets hit with lots of overspray from the sprinkler system...so you guessed it..tons of deep water spots on the driver side.

Started with some Meguiar's DA Microfiber system which did OK on the side i show as the after..Didn't really take out the water spots..

Switched to Meguiar's M105, a pretty aggressive compound and it got most of the water spots out..some still there..but about 90% to the good.

Windows were badly water spotted too. Used Griot's garage glass polish. About 95% good there.

Finished with a couple of coats of wax...

Will get an overall after pic up today

Try using vinegar first to remove the hard water spots - on the paint and the glass! Then wash again, use the clay, etc.

I've got horribly hard water at my house for washing cars. I've found that using Griot's Speed Shine is just about the easiest thing ever to a "clean" wipedown of the car after washing, which includes knocking out the waterspots. Smells good too...and then the car is squeaky clean, ready for wax or what-have-you.
