Actually a very clever idea, kinda pricey for now at $350. Basically its a grinding wheel with slots cut in it so you can see the edge of the item you are grinding on. Apparently the resulting added control of the point of contact makes it work faster and better.

That's nothing new, there've been slotted cutting/grinding discs around for years.
